KIDS DAY - Maloof - May 10th 9am to 3pm RMFM has teamed up with ARCC to put on the best Kid' Day Event yet !!
The Albuquerque Radio Control Club, formed in 1955, is a non-profit organization of modelers dedicated to the promotion, development, education, and advancement of the R/C hobby. All members also belong to the National Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), which provides liability insurance, leadership, competition, and education to its members. The ARCC is a family-oriented club. Our main goal is to have fun and spread the excitement of the R/C hobby. Our members fly just about anything: Trainers, Sport, Scale, Pattern, IMAC, Control Line, Electrics, Helicopters, and Free Flight. We put on many events throughout the year, both flying and non-flying; from fun-flys, to mall shows, to kid's day . . . we do it all. We fly at George Maloof Air Park, which is located on the West Mesa of Albuquerque, past the Petroglyph Park. Draw on decades of modeling experience from our club members. FREE flight instruction for all new R/C pilots!
Come join us at our next club meeting, on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M. Meetings are held at the Asbury Methodist Church at 10000 Candelaria NE (between Eubank and Juan Tabo). Meet some of our members, and learn about model aviation and the ARCC. Win an "almost-ready-to-fly" model airplane at the monthly raffle! Visitors are always welcome! We hope you will enjoy your visit to our web site and we look forward to meeting you soon!
